What would you ahve done in this case?

A guy had been hared to near suicide by the police who mistakenlky took her to be a member of the mafia. The guy had been driven to a state of severe mental illness, but tried to reach out to anyone who could possibly save him from the trouble. HIs family would not believe that he was undergoign this harment because they coudl not believe that the police woudl do such a thing. However, the mafia knew that he underwent this type of problem, so they decided to accept him into their family in order to have "protection". There was only one condition.; he had to sacrifice his entire life and his entire family's wellbeing for the sake of joining the mafia. However, this only estranged him further from the rest of the society, and he was not able to back out of this becasue he felt that the plice would never give him a chance to live independently. When he joined the mafia organization, the organization accused him and his family of fostering disloyal attitudes toward the organization. The boy had to marry into the family by being with a poor girl whose father was a loyal mafia member. The organization had investigated all of his information, including that of his family's financial status and family background, which lead to the boy's emotionally torture as his famiylo had no knowledge of thsi happening. His desire to explain this to his father had been futile as his father worshipped the public front of the organization, named "Peace 22", and woudl only be disbelieved. HIs school grades were slipping and getting worse, and he was trying to escape reality by turning to drugs. The mafia members had also put the boy under surveilllance so that they could monitor and condemn him if he happened to say anything disloyal towards the mafia, and to follow him to make sure they knew every single person he was contacting. The mafia members told the boy that the police were going to destroy him without their protection and that he had to sacrifice his entire family's wealth and status and lead his parents to unkowingly particiapte with the mafia. The only loyal feelings he had towards teh mafia was mere attachment to the girl, but he knew very well that the girl was being used to pull him intio the organization and sacrifice everything he had in order to use him. The boy is in a situatino whereupon he cannot go back to society and the mafia members might surely kill him if he tries to leave. He knows taht his family is more important than the ideology of the mafia which is based on exploitation and lies. What woudl he do?
