Anyone have any College study tips for a former Home Schooler?

I am 27 and flunked out of College last time I went. I was Home Schooled and have no study skills at all. I will be going back full time during the summer to finish my AA. I will also be working full time. Can anyone give me some study and note taking tips that might help me succeed?
