How do I take care of an orchid plant?
My mother bought me this beautiful orchid because she knows they're one of my favorite flowers, which was really sweet of her! But I have ZERO gardening skills! I read the little tag on it and it says to feed it twice a month, keep it in a well lit room but avoid direct sunlight, and to keep the soil moist but not to let it sit in water and to avoid water at the "crown" of the plant... WTF is the crown of the plant?! What kind of food to feed it? ANY tips on how to keep my orchid alive will help!
What do you think of the Man Arrested for Confronting Daughter's Bullies?
This dad acted like the biggest bully of them all. He should have gone to the bus company, principal, superintendent, or school committee in that order. Usually the bus company can handle things like this. If a kid can work it out themselves they get a boost to their self-esteem.
Do you believe a nuke free earth is possible?
I mean, it would be nice, but like utopia, or isolationism, (or finding a single, sane, healthy childless woman my age/weight) it just doesn't sound possible with the human species. And even if they made it work, seems just a question of time before someone came up with an equally effective WMD to take it's place? I don't see how there is any hope of meeting the global warming mandates without nuclear power, too many NIMBYs are for building hydro, wind or tidal turbines, not to mention powerlines, SOMEWHERE else but denying the best sites due to aesthetics/property values, yet don't want to use less electricity at the same time. So, please try and give a serious, troll-free, rep vs dem answer. I know Obama's college thesis was on soviet nuclear disarmanent, and while the russians never comply with any agreement because to cheat is to win in their mentality, all treaties before only include ballistic missile or air dropped weapons, there is no current treaty on the developement, proliferation or sale of battlefield tactical nukes, and the russians are building and testing them right along where the USA stopped all testing. The russians, under Putin, have been building a huge underground city at Yammantau, while we have mothballed our cold war facilities and dismantled our civil defense shelters, even though the threat of losing a city in a mushroom cloud now is just as great as ever before since WW2. And before someone brings it up, the US developed nuclear bombs in WW2 barely ahead of the germans and maybe only weeks ahead of the Japanese, who tested one on the coast of the Korean peninsula right before Russia declared war on them and over ran the facility, this is why they didn't surrender after Hiroshima, they would have used them on us given the chance. And yes, the germans did fly an empty jet bomber over NYC, but efforts to sabotage their heavy water program in Norway proved more successful in disrupting their program then we realized until war's end.
I have 6 parents who don't get along. What's going to happen at my wedding?
My real parents were 16 when they had me. They had an open adoption so I grew up with them and my adoptive parents. Then my adoptive parents split and are both remarried. So I have 6 parents! I love them all and they are amazing but I am so stuck on what's going to happen at my wedding. I've decided I am going to walk myself down the aisle because I can't pick one of them over another. The problem is they don't get along. My adoptive mum hates my stepmother and my adoptive dad hates my stepfather. My real parents are in an argument as are my adoptive parents and my step parents. I want my wedding to be the day I've always dreamed of and I want them all to come but not if they are going to argue the whole time. You'd think they'd try to be civil for me but they weren't at my engagement party. How is this going to work? My fiance justs wants me to be happy and says I can decide what is going to happen but I don't know what I want. Have you got any ideas? I want this to be a special day.

This was during the school year: He was in my homeroom and sometimes I seen him stare at me a lot and I laughed at all his jokes, he also was in my other cl and he sat next to me a couple of times but we didn't talk and he also sat next to me when where on the computer, he plays lacrosse/football and he is really smart, whenever I seen him in the hall way he still looks at me a lot when where not in cl and also the theirs a bookshelf in the clroom so he looked over it and smiled at me- now it's summer, if yes that he likes me than what should I do
